In this landmark discourse, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, explores the contribution of chasidus to a far deeper and expanded understanding of Torah. The Rebbe analyzes the relationship chasidus has with Kabbalah, the various dimensions of the soul, the concept of Moshiach and the Divine attributes.
Now part of the Chasidic Heritage Series, this newly revised edition includes a vowelized Hebrew text, a clear English translation, appendix, comprehensive footnotes and annotation.

Reviews:
This is a book that changed my life. I read it years ago and it was meaningful but in the past few years I re-read it and something in me I thought would never get better broke
open in an instant. Perhaps because now I'm almost eighty and, to my surprise, growth processes have quickened, taken me to places I couldn't have guessed.
It was Rebbe Schneerson's notes on the yechida soul, a point of soul in contact with God, essence to essence. Something happened as I read it this time and a barrier gave way.
That does not mean all is better and no problems and challenges exist. Far from it.
But something is better, and the relief and opening is palpable.
